Hope you all are doing well. Today I will be reviewing Lakme moonlit highlighter. I was not really a highlight lover until now. I have loved using mac’s strobe cream.

Product Description of Lakme Absolute Moon Lit Highlighter:
With luxurious micro-fine pearls, Lakmé Absolute Moon-Lit Highlighter gives a luminous glow to your skin that you’re bound to love. Accentuate your features with it and bring about an illuminating makeover to your face.
Application of Lakme Absolute Moon Lit Highlighter:
Step 1: Take a blush brush and gently dap it onto the palette.
Step 2: Apply the highlighter across the apple of your cheeks, chin, forehead and brow bones.
Step 3: Repeat the process if you prefer a more defined look.
Packaging of Lakme Absolute Moon Lit Highlighter:
The product comes in a compact and travel friendly packaging. The pan is circular in shape and has divisions. One is supposed to be the highlighter and the other one is the bronzer.
Texture of Lakme Absolute Moon Lit Highlighter:
The highlighter does not have a fine texture. The highlighter has too much glitter and application is patchy as well.
My Experience with Lakme Absolute Moon Lit Highlighter:
Talking about the payoff of both, the illuminator works well. The bronzer does not suit Indian skin tone. Rather, it does not show over the dusky skin at all.
The shades are too much apart if you talk using the same pan as a highlighter and bronzer together. The best way to use the palette is using it with a fluffy brush. The highlighter has too much glitter and has a lot of fallout if you are not very careful while applying it.
The highlighter does not work at all with the fingers. So, retouching with the palette is not a task.
Talking about the stay time of the highlighter is 2-3 hours.
The highlighter is not at all suitable for the people with Indian skin tone. The shade stand alone does not work at all until you use a blush.
Pros of Lakme Absolute Moon Lit Highlighter:
Cons of Lakme Absolute Moon Lit Highlighter:
- The colour does not work for Indian skin tone.
- Too much shimmer in the powder.
- The stay time of the highlighter is 2-3 hours.
Final Verdict/Rating of the Lakme Absolute Moon Lit Highlighter
1/5 (Just for the pigmentation)
I would give the product a pass, there are a lot of options available that are cheaper as well.
