Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing well! I am just getting back to my healthy self now ad days. This month has been quite a bummer in terms of my health I would say. Nevertheless, I have been trying to work.
So, if you have been following me you would know that I absolutely loved Innisfree Nail paint remover. But, the one fine day I had a nail paint emergency, a remover emergency and I go this baby.
Let’s get started with the review:
Product Description of Sephora Gentle Nail Polish Remover:
What it is:
Super gentle on nails yet tough on stubborn nail polish formulas, this very affordably-priced remover formulated with white peach extracts has got it all!
What it does:
It does not dry out your nails and cuticles as it is formulated with gentle solution that cleans away the polish easily.
Packaging of Sephora Gentle Nail Polish Remover:
The product comes in a red and black bottle with the details on it. I personally feel that Sephora could have done better with the quality of packaging. The sticker on my bottle looks as if I have gotten a copy of the product which I have actually not. Now talking about the travel-friendly part, the bottle has a screw opening and you can carry it on your travels. But, I feel it is a little too big in comparison to the nail paint removers that I have seen earlier. I did not see a travel version of the bottle as well, so!
Price of Sephora Gentle Nail Polish Remover:
INR 820 for 125 ml.
Texture and Fragrance of Sephora Gentle Nail Polish Remover:
I do not like the nail paint removers with a foul smell and the Innisfree one was a staple in my routine because of this reason. To be honest, I had to buy this one. But, I am glad that it does not have a bad chemical smell. The smell is a fruity and floral mix. The bottle says that it has white peach extract. that may be the reason behind the beautiful smell. So the women who do not like chemical smelling nail paint removers can give this one a try.
My experience with Sephora Gentle Nail Polish Remover:
I really like this nail paint remover. I won’t say I love it because of it’s the price I feel the Innisfree one that I have been using so far was less priced and worked equally well.
Talking about this one in particular. It does remove the nail paint really easily and you don’t need a lot of product for a single use so that is a plus point.
Talking about the other claims of the product of being genteel on the nails. I don’t agree to that because the nail paint does leave a cast behind while you remove darker shades. I saw a terrible yellow stain on my nails when I removed an orange shade from Innisfree so that is turn off.
For a while, have not seen any white cast or dryness on my nails due to the use of the nail paint. It is very gentle on the skin and does not make it dry.
But, with the deeper shades, you have to go in twice with the product. It won’t take of the deeper shades in a single go.
Pros of Sephora Gentle Nail Polish Remover:
- It is gentle on the skin.
- Do not need a lot of product for each use.
- Does not have a foul smell.
- Does not make your nails turn white or leave a caste.
Cons of Sephora Gentle Nail Polish Remover:
- The packaging is not that good. For the price, Sephora could have done a lot better.
- Does not remover the deeper shades in a single go.
- Makes your nails turn pale sometimes.
- Price may be a con for some people.
- Contains parabens.
