I won’t lie here. I plunged on to mac lipsticks as soon as I entered the makeup world. Lol. I have a few from colorbar but, then I have always believed in owning quality products. Not that I am saying colorbar and other drugstore brands don’t have quality products. But, let us face the truth, who would not like to try mac instead?
If I have to say one thing about this lipstick I would say this is my favourite lipstick so far from mac’s range.

Packaging of MAC Retro Matte Lipstick All Fired Up:
It comes in mac’s classic packaging in a black cardboard. I am sorry I am not a cardboard keeper sort of a person so, do not have that lying around. It comes in classic black shimmer texture bullet. I travel with mac’s lipstick’s all the time. There is usually one or two in my bag. I have never faced an issue with the packaging. I must say it is quite sturdy and travel-friendly.

Stay time of MAC Retro Matte Lipstick All Fired Up:
The stay time of this lipstick is up to 8 to 9 hours. Yes, this one does stay for this long on my lips and if I am having a meal in between it would stay for 7 hours straight prior to the lunch. Even if you are eating oily food and not just salads the lipstick stain is still there. It does get faded but does not make the lips look patchy at all.
Texture of MAC Retro Matte Lipstick All Fired Up:
As the name suggests this lipstick is from the retro matt range. The texture of the lipstick is dry but, not as drying as Mac’s flat out fabulous. It has a matte finish and long stay.

My experience with MAC Retro Matte Lipstick All Fired Up:
For the record, I have dry lips. Mac’s retro matte range is not at all forgiving to the flawed lips. So, you have to make sure that you have scrubbed and moisturized your lips properly.
I usually use a lip balm before. Let it sit for a decent amount of time and then apply the lip colour.
The shade is insanely pigmented and gives 80-90% pigmentation in one swipe. The colour would show up even if you have pigmented lips I would say. It has a matte finish but, does not feel uncomfortable or drying on the lips at all.
The formula is comfortable on the lips. The lipstick stays for the entire day on my lips if I am eating. If I get into eating oily food the lipsticks would fade but not in a patchy way. A nice stain is still there on the lips. Mac describes this lipstick as a bright fuchsia shade.
I have a wheatish complexion and it looks very flattering on my skin tone. For women with a lighter complexion, this would look more on the pinkish side.
This shade would work for almost all skin tones. So if you someone who would like to go for a fushia shade and ditch reds for some time. This should be your next purchase.
