Kama Ayurveda Pure Mogra Water Review

Kama Ayurveda Pure Mogra Water

Hi everyone, today we will be talking about Kama Ayurveda Pure Mogra Water. It feels like it’s been ages that I have actually sat down to write a review. Today I will be reviewing a product that a lot of us miss out in our skincare routine. It surely is a hero product in the world of skincare and makeup. I’m talking about the face mists. I personally started using these beauties quite late. Once you incorporate these into your routine it is hard to not make them a staple in your skincare routine.

The product I will reviewing today is from Kama Ayurveda, which is a clean, chemical free, ayurvedic brand. All of their ingredients are natural and thus are very good for your skin.

Kama Ayurveda Pure Mogra Water Product Description:

Steam distilled from hand-picked Indian Mogra (Jasmine), this pure floral water is an ancient recipe for skin hydration in Ayurveda. It adds essential moisture back to balance dry, mature and sensitive skin. Its anti-inflammatory properties relieve stressed skin while the calming scent soothes nerves and alleviates tension to uplift the mood. Balances the PH of skin and with regular usage, also helps in relieving pigmentation and signs of ageing. Mogra’s sweet fragrance is clarifying and refreshing start or finish, to a long day.

Fragrance and Texture of Kama Ayurveda Pure Mogra Water:

The product smells of mogra/jasmine flowers. However, the fragrance is not that fresh I would say. I personally love jasmine fragrance. I’m obsessed with these beauties. You know that fresh fragrance that these flowers have when you buy them from a vendor. It is so soothing and calming. The product does not have that sort of fragrance for some reason. It just has a hint of that fragrance I would say for some reason. I have used Forest Essentials jasmine face mist in the past. Forest Essentials is another very good clean and natural brand. It smells absolutely heavenly. It’s is like you are sitting in a jasmine garden. However, it is costly owing to the quantity of the product so I thought of trying this one instead.

The product has a watery texture as it’s a face mist. It feels like you have sprayed water on your face.

Packaging of Kama Ayurveda Pure Mogra Water:

The product comes in typical Kama Ayurveda’s packaging. It comes in a brown see-through bottle with a pump dispenser. The cap of the dispenser is quite sturdy and fits properly. The packaging of the product is travel-friendly in terms of being spill proof if you don’t have an issue with the size of the bottle. It is not fancy or eye-catching, but it does the job well. The brand is offering a lot of product in comparison to other similar brands in the market. I won’t mind non-fancy packaging if the product works well.

My experience with Kama Ayurveda Pure Mogra Water:

The product works fine as a face mist. I use it regularly in my CTM routine twice in a day. It takes 2-3 minutes for the product to be absorbed into the skin. The product does not smell like mogra/ jasmine which a huge turn-off. Also, it does not calm or soothes the skin, unlike its claims. I have not seen any improvement in skin texture or size of pores (although I don’t have a major issue of pores). It adds a bit of hydration to the skin which also does not last for a decent amount of time.

The quantity of the product is decent which makes it last for 3 months at least if you are just using it twice in a day like me. But, the performance is just unsatisfying as a toner. The product can also be used as a body mist. I did not use it much on the body except for my arms since it was burned. It was a complete waste of the product. It basically does not do anything to calm or soothe skin tissues. I just have to use the product because I had spent my money on it and it worked as a toner. Also, the product terribly fails as a setting spray after makeup. It does not give any dewy texture to the skin or settle it in any way.

Pros of Kama Ayurveda Pure Mogra Water:

  • Natural ingredients.

Cons of Kama Ayurveda Pure Mogra Water:

  • It does not smell like mogra/ jasmine. It just has a tiny hint of it.
  • Does not help to reduce the size of pores.
  • Does not add glow to the face
  • It does absolutely nothing to calm tired skin.
  • No soothing or calming effect on the skin.
  • Fails to be used as a setting spray.

Final Verdict on of Kama Ayurveda Pure Mogra Water: 2/5
